Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke do a phenomenal job! Those two bring any book they perform to the next level - they draw you in and squeeze the emotions out of you. The sex scenes were hot and so well written and felt natural to the story. You get the sense right away that he is a great guy with a big heart (who also happens to know his way around a baby due to being an uncle who gets put in charge of babysitting duties every once in a while). There was total cuteness overload during the scenes where Alexei interacts with Ella, and I loved seeing him interact with his family. He knew when to push things and when to leave things alone.

He is very protective of the ones he loves, is respectful and loves that Ryleigh doesn’t care one iota that he is a famous football player. Ryleigh is a great heroine, she is put into a really difficult situation when baby Ella is left in her care but she is strong, feisty and even though she is prideful she is willing to put it aside to put Ella first. I really enjoyed this one! It had me smiling and swooning and is full of heart. Alexei needs to focus on football, keep himself out of the headlines and concentrate on winning games - so why does he find himself intervening when he sees a woman in need of help outside of a bar? Because he’s got a hero complex, younger sisters and a mother who would be ashamed if he didn’t help out. Her ex-roommate left her with her baby, her car needs some work, she’s late on utilities and rent and she’s just been propositioned outside of the topless bar where she works. “I Believe the Technical Term is Ovary Explosion”
